Mapping a Movement

Social Explorer maps are dynamic and interactive.  You may create your own map on the Social Explorer site or you may make changes to the maps on this site.  All changes are temporary and do not effect the permanent map framework of racial population and comparative categories related to unemployment, poverty, education, or unemployment.  Website viewers can examine information by tract, increase or expand map area, change the visualization type, or redo color shading which fits to your preferences.  Hopefully, close examination of these maps will give you an in depth understanding about the issues that help create black inequality.
